Cumnock Community College provides the focus for our educational and training needs in East Ayrshire. The college is situated in Caponacre Industrial Estate which lies between Cumnock and Netherthird offering easy access from the main A70 Ayr -Dumfries road. This improved facility is symbolic of the College’s commitment to the community and has the potential to be one of the College’s major successes.

Facilities at Cumnock are of a high standard and include multi-media suites, a hair and beauty salon, craft workshops, general classrooms, a student refectory, a library, student common room and a conference suite.

The LearnDirect Scotland learning centre offers a drop in facility for students and the public to access training in IT using self help material and tutor support. Clients can undertake a wide variety of study programmes such as PC Passport or European Computer Driving Licence ECDL. (See the Learning Resource Centre for full details of what’s available).
