Summary of Academic Staff Terms and Conditions |

Full details of Terms and Conditions are contained within employment contracts and related College policy documentation but key features of academic staff contracts are provided below:
- Hours – full-time hours are 35 per week
- Holidays – 61 days per year inclusive of public holidays for teaching staff and 42 days per year inclusive of public holidays for academic managers
- Pension – employees are eligible to join the Scottish Teachers Superannuation Scheme (further details at www.sppa.gov.uk/scot_teachers/home.htm)
- Career Review/Performance Management – we are committed to the continuous development of our staff and, as part of this, employees are required to participate in any career review/performance management scheme approved by the College and to undertake training as appropriate
In addition, College employees benefit from:

Those based at the main campus in Ayr can also access the on site nursey, Bright Sparks.
