Summary of Support Staff Terms and Conditions |

Full details of Terms and Conditions are contained within employment contracts and related College policy documentation but key features of Support Staff contracts are provided below:
- Hours – full-time hours are 36.25 per week
- Holidays – 32 days per year inclusive of public holidays for service between 0 and 5 years and 37 days inclusive of public holidays for service of 5 years or more
- Pension – employees are eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme (further details available at www.spfo.org.uk)
- Career Review/Performance Management – we are committed to the continuous development of our staff and, as part of this, employees are required to participate in any career review/performance management scheme approved by the College and to undertake training as appropriate
In addition, the main campus at Ayr College offers the following facilities:
- Free car parking
- On site Refectory facilities
- Library access
- Free evening class places (subject to the usual approval process)
- Childcare Voucher scheme
Those based at the main campus in Ayr can also access the on site nursery, Bright Sparks.
