Ayr College relies on the knowledge, skills and behaviour of its staff to achieve our objectives and serve our clients, both internal and external. And, the College is committed to developing and training all staff to the required standard in order to achieve our strategic and operational objectives.
We provide a comprehensive programme of Staff Development activities to address training needs, with a specific focus on:
- Appropriate professional and vocational qualifications
- Maintaining the currency of vocational and professional skills
- Using the College’s CPD Toolkit and records to help staff track their development
The College achieved the IiP Standard in 1995 and was reaccredited in 1998, 2001 and 2005. Each member of staff takes part in the planning and objective setting of development activity through our Staff Development and Career Review process.
