A relaxed seating area is available to enable staff and students to use the Library for reading daily newspapers and magazines.
The following newspapers are available:
- The Herald
- The Daily Record
- The Daily Express
- The Ayr Advertiser
- Ayrshire Post
- The Times Education Supplement
The magazines are to support curriculum delivery and cannot be removed from the Library. Back issues are located at the rear of the Library. Magazines are constantly being updated and new titles added. Should students require any additional magazine titles, relevant to their course of study, please contact the library staff who will be able to assist you further.
The library has various magazine titles available, for example:
- Creative Review
- Music Week
- New Scientist
- The Caterer
- Modern Painters
