You will need a minimum of one relevant Higher at Grade C or above, or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 6 or equivalent. Applicants with appropriate experience or other training may be accepted without formal qualifications.
A place on this course is subject to an interview process.
All applicants will be interviewed and are required to submit a portfolio of art and design work.
Who is this course for?
This course is a rewarding alternative to a first year of an art school degree programme which will help develop, engage and exhibit your creative ideas.
This course can be used to create a portfolio to support any application you make for employment, HND or Art School.

How many days will I be in college?
Normally 3/4 days, however you will be given your timetable when you attend your Induction Day.
How will I be assessed?
You will undertake continuous assessments throughout the course.
Moving On
Students who successfully complete the course may be considered for the HND Art and Design course.
This will depend on your results and positive feedback from your lecturers throughout the course.
Students may also decide to look for employment in the creative industries.
