This course is suitable for individuals who have received additional support for their learning. While no formal qualifications are required, entry will be based on a satisfactory interview.

How will I be assessed?
The course consists of a range of units at Level 1.
Students will be assessed within these units.
How many days will I be in college?
Depending on your selection you will attend college for three hours per week for 36 weeks.
What can I do next?
Students can progress onto a variety of courses at SCQF level 2 depending on the student's overall results.
Progressions will also depend on receiving positive feedback from your lecturers.
How do I fund my course?
Students attending this course are usually referred by various agencies, social work department or by the student or their families, and are self funding or can apply for a fee waiver.
