You will need four relevant Standard Grades at Credit Level, or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 5 or equivalent.
A place on the course is subject to an interview process.
Applicants should possess qualities which would enable them to communicate easily with the public.
You will gain experience in dealing with clients as you will be offering a range of treatments (under supervision, including manicure, pedicure, facial and body massage).
Your Beauty Kit and Uniform will be supplied and funded by the college for successful bursary applicants.
Assessments will be various and ongoing througout the year.
You will be assessed on your ‘hands on’ performance during practical assessments and will have to sit various written assessments as you progress through the course.

You should apply for a Bursary. You can get a Bursary/EMA Application Pack from the Student Finance Office located in the Student Information Centre at Ayr Campus once you have been offered a place on the course.
