You will need a minimum of one relevant Higher at Grade C or above, or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 6 or equivalent. Applicants with appropriate experience or other training may be accepted without formal qualifications.
A place on this course is subject to an interview process.
Who is this course for?
Have you ever wondered why some businesses such as Amazon, Ryanair, or Tesco’s make millions of pounds of profits while others fail miserably? This course is aimed at everyone who is interested in finding out how today’s businesses work.
The course will prepare you for a wide variety of exciting careers in either private organisations or in public sector employment such as NHS, Councils or Education. Some students aspire to learning how to run their own business.

How will I be assessed?
A variety of assessment methods are used throughout the year.
There will be one exam (Graded Unit) at the end of the year.
How many days will I be in college?
Normally 3/4 days, however you will be given your timetable when you attend your Induction Day.
Moving On
HND Business(SCQF Level 8) or progression to employment or university, which may include articulation arrangements with a variety of degree courses.
This will depend on your results and positive feedback from your lecturers as to your suitability.
