You will need a minimum of one relevant Higher at Grade C or above, or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 6 or equivalent. Applicants with appropriate experience or other training may be accepted without formal qualifications.
A place on this course is subject to an interview process.

Food Hygiene (Intermediate)
Food and Beverage Service
Food Production Processes
Hospitality Front Office Procedures 1
Hospitality Financial Accounting
Management of Human Resources in Hospitality
Information Technology: Applications Software 1
Graded Unit 1
How will I be assessed?
A variety of assessment methods are used throughout the year.
You will undertake practical assessments, work on projects and reports and sit closed book tests under examination conditions.
How many days will I be in college?
Normally 3/4 days, however you will be given your timetable when you attend your Induction Day.
What can I do next?
Progression to a wide range of relevant vocational courses at SCQF Level 8 or progression to employment or university, which may include articulation arrangements with a variety of degree courses.
