Higher Psychology

Understanding the Individual - This unit will examine memory and stress. And explore a variety of different theories that claim to explain these areas – no one theory is ‘more correct’ than another, but simply a different explanation.

Investigating Behaviour - This unit looks at various ways that psychologists test out their theories and examines the positives and negatives of each. Also in this unit, is a plan of how the student intends to carry out their research investigation.

The Individual in the Social Context - This unit looks at two main areas – social psychology (SP) and the psychology of individual differences (ID). Topics include prejudice and atypical behaviour.
